RunNGun Basketball uses the powerful program Excel, as a vehicle for game play. Action within the game takes place on your screen. Fantastic NBA action comes to life as each individual player and team will exhibit the characteristics on the real life basketball hardwood.
In RunNGun Basketball, you can either sit back and watch the game with little strategic input or, you can be as involved as you want as a coach, setting match-ups, determining who to run the offense through, double teaming dangerous offensive opponents, picking up the pace of play or slowing the game down. It’s your decision and RunNGun Basketball is enjoyable either way.
You will quickly discover that game play within RunNGun Basketball enjoys a quick pace just like the real game. Nearly all plays are resolved with one simple click of a button and then it’s off to the next possession.
With the purchase of RunNGun Basketball and any of the available season sets, you get every player from every team who played for that season. You also get the referees who were a part of that season and they are involved in the game as well. Each team has it’s own page where the roster is easily managed. These team pages easily load into the RunNGun Computer Game Center where the action takes place. A league register for each season tracks many player and team statistics as well as standings. The league register also contains the entire schedule. With RunNGun Basketball, you have everything needed to jump right into to hot basketball action and season replays or projects.

GAME PLAY EXAMPLE - A d6 decides if the offensive or defensive player’s card is used for the result. A d100 determines which part of the offensive or defensive player’s card is used for the result. In this example, the roll is 1 and 31. 1 through 3 corresponds to the offensive player which is Larry Bird. Bird’s offensive column has an array of result. 31 slots into the MAKE 2PT section of Bird’s offensive column. He makes a basket against James Worthy and Dennis Johnson picks up the assist.
