The Miami Dolphins run their way to a perfect 14-0 record and their first Super Bowl win.  The triple-headed monster of Larry Csonka, Mercury Morris and Jim Kiick led the Dolphins to an incredible 2,960 yards on the ground.  The Dolphins combined that runaway rushing train with a stifling defense which led the NFL in points allowed and yards allowed.  In the NFC, George Allen led the steady Washington Redskins to the best record at 11-3 and a sweet victory over the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC Championship Game and gave the Dolphins a good fight in Super Bowl VII at the Coliseum in Los Angeles.  Meanwhile, a fledgling dynasty was beginning in Pittsburgh as the Steelers were putting together and iron tough defense backed up by NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Franco Harris.  All of the great names are present and accounted for in 1972.  The Cowboys, Packers, Raiders, Browns and 49ers all made the playoffs.  Can the Dolphins be perfect in your tabletop world?  1972 is an all-time great season!  Relive it all with Sideline Football and the 1972 NFL Season Set.
