The 1985 NFL Season Set.  The Chicago Bears, led by Mike Ditka, storm and dominate the NFL.  The Monsters of the Midway returned to Chicago in the form of the 46 Defense.  The Bears defense totally dominated the league punishing anyone who touched the ball.  That's not the only story of the NFL in 1985.  Aside from Chicago's domination of the NFL Central, each division race was decided by a single game.  The NFC East featured a three-way tie between the Cowboys, Giants and Redskins.  The Cowboys took the crown on a tie breaker and the Giants earned a Wild Card birth leaving the Redskins out after the devastating broken leg suffered by Joe Theisman.  The LA Rams surprised the reigning Super Bowl Champion 49ers in the NFC West.  In the AFC, the Miami Dolphins won the AFC East with a 12-4 record but just barely over the Jets and Patriots who both finished 11-5 and earned Wild Card spots.  The AFC West was won by the LA Raiders who finished a game ahead of the Denver Broncos who missed the playoff despite going 11-5.  The AFC Central was won by the 8-8 Cleveland Browns who finished just ahead of the 7-9 Bengals and 7-9 Steelers. The Bears, of course, utterly dominated the NFC playoffs and the New England Patriots beat the Jets in the Wild Card game, went to Los Angeles to upend the Raiders and beat their rivals, the Miami Dolphins, in the AFC Championship Game.  The Patriots were no match for the Bears in Super Bowl XX.  Due to their ability to make opposing quarterbacks suffer, there is a special provisional rule in place for the 1985 Bears that call for an extra injury check on opposing quarterbacks when the Bears put a Big or Huge Hit on a trembling QB.  Who will win these close divisional races?  Will be Bears go undefeated?  Answer those questions and relive the 1985 NFL Season with Sideline Football and the 1985 Season set.
